3 rd January, 2009 has prescribed procedure for the Redevelopment of buildings belonging to the Co-Operative Housing Societies by giving directions under Section 79(A) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. The Government vide Government Resolution dt. Non-Parity in the Agreements to be executed with Developers. Not adopting a fair procedure for the finalization of tenders Ĩ. Non-Planning of Redevelopment Project Report ħ. Conducting business in violation of the Co-operative Law, Rules and Bye-Laws Lack of co-ordination in the work to be done by the Architects and Project Consultants Ħ.
Non-transparency in the Tendering Process Ĥ. Not taking members in confidence in the Redevelopment Process Ģ. By and large, the nature of complaints received in the matter of redevelopment of Co-operative Housing Societies is as follows:ġ. Several complaints are received from the Housing Societies, Housing Federation and individual members regarding the management of Co-operative Societies which are in the midst of redevelopment. The Redevelopment Schemes of the buildings belonging to Co-operative Housing Societies are extensively being undertaken in the State of Maharashtra.
